According to WHO, approximately 65 percent of the adult human population experiences a reduced ability to digest lactose after infancy, or in simple words, cannot consume dairy products such as milk, or curd at will. Lactose intolerance among adults is most common in people of East Asian descent, with an approximate 90 percent of the population in some of these communities. Subsequently, many of us have to part ways with some of the staple foods and beverages, including cheese, and tea. Well, not anymore!
